I’m a Bioinformatician, Data Analyst, and Developer with a M.Sc. in Bioinformatics from the University of North Bengal, where I’m currently a research scholar at the Computational Systems Biology Lab. I’ve previously served as a guest lecturer at IIAS, Siliguri, teaching Data Science in the BBA Business Analytics program.
With a strong foundation in both biology and computer science, I thrive in interdisciplinary environments, exploring innovative solutions at their intersection. I specialize in Bioinformatics with a strong focus on computational analysis of biological data, particularly in differential gene expression analysis using RNA-Seq, scRNA-seq and microarray datasets. My expertise includes statistical analysis, machine learning applications, and algorithm development using R and Python. I have hands-on experience with tools for molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulation, and scientific writing with a solid foundation in both biology and computer science
Web Development
I have strong expertise in Web Development with a focus on building responsive, data-driven, and user-friendly applications. My skill set includes front-end and back-end development using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and frameworks like Bootstrap and React. I also integrate analytical and scientific functionalities into web platforms, bridging web technology with computational biology. A recent example of my work is DGEAR-web, a custom-built bioinformatics web tool designed to perform ensemble-based Differential Gene Expression Analysis using multiple statistical methods.
